I have approximately a kazillion things to do before I go to the NAAFA and ASDAH conferences in Washington DC at the end of the week, but I managed to get my hands on some copies of the Fat Studies in the UK book today and, lemme tell ya, they're beautiful and I'm really proud to be involved with the publication. I'll be bringing a bunch of copies to the conferences, just so you know.For those who won't be at the conferences next week, you can still get copies via Raw Nerve, Amazon etc, or your local booksellers.
Meanwhile, yes, the washing up is done, and NAAFA and ASDAH folk who know me, I'm really looking forwards to seeing you!

what a lovely photo! Can't wait to get feedback on the book. We are very proud to have you involved with it too. It would have been very wrong to have a book with that title and *not* had your involvement!
